Les Hauts de Trintaudon

Les Hauts de Trintaudon is the second wine from Château Larose-Trintaudon, a “little brother” made from the same vines, the same terroirs and the same harvest… and above all, with the same exacting standards. It is in the cellar, following the selection of the most exceptional batches that will make up the blend of the first wine, that the second wine is born, and aged in vats, not barrels. With its magnificent ruby red hue, it is a deliciously elegant, smooth wine, crafted for immediate enjoyment, that will bring a touch of enchantment to every day.

Tasting notes

Very dense, deep ruby colour with crimson reflections. Very good clarity. On the nose, menthol and cedar notes accompanied by subtle toasted and smoked notes. The palate is fleshy with powerful and refined tannins, still taut. Very good balance overall, with the long and slightly liquorice finish giving class.

To be decanted 2 hours before tasting.
Enjoy from now until 2025-2030

• CHRIS KISSACK: 16/20 This has a dark, perfumed and characterful nose, with some confit berry sweetness,
tempered by a grainy note. It has a nicely textured palate, quite soft, supple and well integrated, the tannic backbone
well buried within a moderately charming texture. This is fresh, bright, really quite correct and poised. The finish is
gripped with tannin of course, but overall the composition feels very sound and balanced. Well done.
• SILVER MEDAL: Concours Sélections Mondiales des Vins Canada
