In that year
Weather conditions were sometimes damp during the growing season, causing flower abortion on the Merlots and millerandage on the Cabernet Sauvignons, hence a small harvest. September and October can only be described as a true Indian summer producing slow but full ripeness of the Cabernet Sauvignons for those who were willing to wait.
Tasting notes
Very beautiful dark ruby colour with some tile-red tints, lovely brilliance. The nose is vanilla and small red fruit (wild strawberry). It is racy, delicate with a good density in the tannins. The finish is luscious with a good length.
