Weather conditions were sometimes damp during the growing season, causing flower abortion on the Merlots and millerandage on the Cabernet Sauvignons, hence a small harvest. September and October can only be described as a true Indian summer producing slow but full ripeness of the Cabernet Sauvignons for those who were willing to wait.
Tasting notes
A very beautiful dark ruby colour, very deep and brilliant. Nose of dark crystallised fruits and leather with some toasty notes giving non-dominant undertones. The attack in the mouth is very full with roundness and sucrosity. The tannins are long and silky and the finish has a good length, staying with the fruit.Serving suggestions
Decant 2 hours before serving.Drink before 2015.
